Title: Non-economic determinants of structural transformations in Małopolska agriculture
Title in polish: Pozaekonomiczne determinanty przeobrażeń strukturalnych w rolnictwie Małopolski
Abstract: In the article results of the research conducted in 2008 among farmers in two districts located in northern part of the Małopolska voivodeship have been presented. The aim of the article is the presentation of farmers’ opinions and attitudes against accomplishing structural alternations in their vicinity. Getting to know farmers’ intentions against the future of their farms, and also getting to know their estimations about the future of their farms in the vicinity can have particular significance in the prognosis and program of further development of rural areas – especially in such a region, with a big agrarian overpopulation as the Małopolska.
Abstract in polish: W artykule zostały zaprezentowane wyniki badań przeprowadzonych w 2008 roku wśród rolników dwóch gmin położonych w północnej części województwa małopolskiego. Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie opinii i postaw rolników wobec następujących w ich otoczeniu przemian strukturalnych. Poznanie zamierzeń rolników, co do dalszych losów własnych gospodarstw, a także ocen wobec przyszłości gospodarstw rolnych w ich okolicy, może mieć szczególne znaczenie w programowaniu i prognozowaniu dalszego rozwoju obszarów wiejskich – zwłaszcza w takim regionie wysokiego przeludnienia agrarnego, jakim jest Małopolska.
